1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using jarrly.com ("the website") and its tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Description of service

Jarrly provides a web-based Environmentally Extended Multi-Regional Input-Output (EEMRIO) analysis tool. The tool allows users to upload final demand data in Excel format and receive greenhouse gas (GHG) emission footprint results based on the EXIOBASE v3.9.6 model.

3. Use of the EEMRIO tool

Permitted use

The EEMRIO tool is provided for research, educational, and analytical purposes. You may use the tool for personal, academic, or professional analysis.

Data you upload

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any data you submit to the tool. Uploaded files are deleted from the server immediately after analysis completes. Result files and temporary job data are automatically purged within 24 hours.

Accuracy of results

Analysis results are generated using the EXIOBASE v3.9.6 dataset and standard Leontief input-output methodology. While we strive for accuracy, results are provided on an "as is" basis and should be independently verified before being used in decision-making, publications, or policy recommendations.

4. Intellectual property & licensing

The underlying EXIOBASE v3.9.6 dataset is provided by the EXIOBASE consortium and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) licence. The EXIOBASE data has been processed by Jarrly for web-based analysis and visualisation.

In accordance with the ShareAlike requirement, the Jarrly web tool (including its interface and logic) is also made available under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 licence. You are free to share and adapt this tool, provided you give appropriate credit and distribute any derivative works under the same licence.

Analysis results generated from your own uploaded data belong to you. The raw EXIOBASE multiplier data used by the tool is not available for direct download.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jarrly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or tool. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Errors or inaccuracies in analysis results
• Loss of data during upload or processing
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Decisions made based on analysis results

6. Availability

We aim to keep the website and tool available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Overload the service with excessive automated requests
• Upload files containing malicious code

8. Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle cookies and data.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
